About Me

Hi there! I'm Kierston Shae, a mixed media artist and passionate cookier based in the heart of Edmond, OK. 

Self-taught, I’ve always dubbed myself a ‘restless creative’, and frequently dabble between mediums. Over the years I’ve developed my talents in charcoal, painting, photography and custom sugar cookies but also enjoy playing with fibers, pastels and anything else I can get my paint stained hands on that allows me to explore creatively.

My journey with customized royal icing sugar cookies began back in 2017 when I wanted to decorate holiday cookies with my then three year old. Disappointed in the lack of icing colors and consistency of premade store bought icing, I set on a mission to learn to make my own royal icing so we could have those memories that Christmas; and the rest, as they say, is history. When I'm not busy with my three amazing kids, you can find me sharing my artistic knowledge as an art instructor at the Edmond Fine Arts Institute.
